- You can now customize the LED Blink Color (as well as Ringtones) on a per conversation (contact) basis. Just long hold on a contact in the conversation list.

- The chompSMS Security Pattern Lock has been enhanced further to also prevent users from opening the built in Messaging application - so MORE security from prying eyes!
- Using the open icon from the chompSMS Widget we now honor the chompSMS Security Pattern Lock.
- Added a new white notification icon, looks very nice on phones with a dark status bar, like the HTC Hero.
- When using Quick Compose or Quick Reply features, you'll no longer lose any text you have typed if interrupted with other events like an alarm clock or a phone call.
- For the Quick Reply feature, you can now configure it to also just pop-up *after unlocking* the phone as well as the existing locked and unlocked modes. This way your phone can stay locked and screen off, and only when you unlock would the Quick Reply appear for you to conveniently reply. - Added a new notification icon, it's dark gray and matches more closely the color of other status bar elements. Nice!

Notifications are working really well now! All known problems with them have been fixed.
- Fixed: make sure the LED doesn't stop blinking when e.g. a message is marked as read.
- Fixed: only mark the messages in a conversation as read if the conversation is visible.
- Fixed: after a message has been sent, the bubbles scrolls up far enough so you can see the message just sent.

- Partial implementation of background sending, such that at least during the sending process, you can press back and continue while the message is sending.
- SMS messages are no longer Unicode encoded if the text message contains special characters for USA recipient numbers. This is due to issues with USA carriers not delivering Unicode encoded messages. In effect, we now use the default Android encoding, which means at least SMS messages are delivered, however special characters can appear as square blobs on the recipients phone (just like they would if you used the Android Messaging application).
